Features
Intelligent Audible Alarm
The alarm signal is designed to intuitively represent the location of an object in the monitored zones. The monitored area is divided into outer and inner zones. In the outer zone, the signal starts as a low-pitched tone which pulses faster as the vehicle gets closer to the object. As the object enters the inner zone, the audible warning becomes an alternating high/low tone at about three feet from the sensor. The inner zone becomes, in effect, an electronic bumper.
Visual warning
An intuitive light bar aids drivers in determining the proximity of an obstacle to the vehicle.
Automatic Verification
Echovision systems activate automatically, needing no action by the driver. They operate only when the vehicle is in reverse.
Patented Self-Test
Echovision systems perform a patented self-test that includes the entire transmitter/receiver/computer and audio system. If a fault is detected, a red light warns the driver of a malfunction.
Smart Programs
Echovision system's unique signal processing software enhances signal discrimination and minimizes false alarms.
Flexibility
The typical maximum range for an Echovision system is 10 feet, but this can be customized to meet a customers specific requirements.
